1. Warm up:
T: Ask Ss to work in pairs and discuss this question:
A: When you meet your friends, what topics do you often talk about?
B: Sports and games………
P: Work in pairs and answer the questions
2. Pre-reading:
T: Please discuss in your group and tell me what you often talk about when you meet your friends.
Feed back.
P: Ss discuss in group and give some topics, which they often talk to their friends.
T: Present vocabulary
-T asks Ss to read through the text and find out newwords and phrases

-Ss read all words in chorus

3. While-reading:
Task 1: Gap – filling
T:Ask Ss to work independently and fill each blank with one of the words in the box. There are more words than the blanks.

Have Ss compare the answers with a friend.
